Look Again

It’s all about perspective and seeking the light.

There are thousands, maybe millions of pilsners, but this pilsner-style light brew invites you to look again - to take in everything that can exist all at once in a single beverage (or moment).

Who Inspired This Beer?

The size of the universe is so big that it is hard to make sense of our significance within its immense space. The existence of the universe has been studied in cosmology by brilliant people, trying to gain an understanding of the universe via a broad discipline of scientific, religious, or philosophical aspects. And one such person, Carl Sagan, a famed scientist, helped bring an incredible perspective on our home planet and the lives we live within it.

Over 30 years ago, as part of NASA’s Voyager 1 mission’s imaging team, Carl convinced officials to take one last image of Earth before the spaceship left our solar system and that image became known as "the pale blue dot." This one-of-a-kind image showed the gravity of how undeniably small the Earth is compared to the entirety of the universe.

Sagan tried to make sense of this image and documented his thoughts in his 1994 book, "Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space." Here's what he wrote:

"From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of any particular interest. But for us, it's different. Consider again that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every 'superstar,' every 'supreme leader,' every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”
