Chocolate-Covered Cherry Stout

This little love nugget delivers either from the can or from a glass . Super good after a post run or you need to trick your brain that your still sipping trendy craft beers . Highly recommend as a choice to quit drinking .

While this stout doesn’t have the thicker mouthfeel of a traditional offering, I actually love the lighter format. It would be nice to amp up the cherry 🍒

This one was really unique. The chocolate/cherry additions caused it to be very foamy...like science experiment volcano the second I opened the can - it may well be that it was because it was at cellar temp and not refrigerated. It also has, what I assume is fat from the chocolate, that makes the foam/bubbles opaque - reminiscent of milk. PLEASE HEAR ME...that doesn't mean it's bad AT ALL. It's a very enjoyable beer - and the chocolate compliments the dark malt well. The cherry is there but more as an tart/acid note...which is helpful in cutting through the richness. NA dark beers are hard to nail - this one does a pretty good job. It's ambitious and I applaud it. Like my other reviews I wish it had a bit more body/malt sweetness - but it's still very good.

One of the best NA stout beers I've tried. Would love to try it on a nitrogen tap.
